Theme/Topic – Ambedkar Jayanti / Baisakhi / Bihu

Date- 12th April, 2024

To pay tribute to Dr. Ambedkar’s contributions, J M International Dwarka celebrated Ambedkar Jayanti on 12th April, 2024 in the school premises. A special assembly was conducted to commemorate moments from Dr. Ambedkar's life and his struggles for social justice were depicted through a dance performance. 

Then students spoke about Baisakhi signifying the importance of celebrating this festival in our country, and how it is celebrated.

Students also performed the beautifully choreographed traditional Bihu dance showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Assam. They greeted everyone for the upcoming festivals of Baisakhi and Bihu.

WORLD HEALTH DAY

On the occasion of World Health Day, a special assembly and a group discussion were organized at JM International School on 04th April 2024. The objective of the event was to raise awareness about the importance of health and wellness among students and to provide guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

During the special assembly, Dr. Solanki Roy Chowdhury, from Venkateshwar hospital, was invited to address the students and provide valuable insights on health and wellness. Dr. Solanki highlighted the key components of a healthy lifestyle,offering practical tips for maintaining good health. Topics covered included nutrition, exercise, stress management, sleep hygiene, and timely intake of food and water. 

Students listened to her advice attentively and were encouraged to be careful about their health.

The Group discussion was conducted for Grades IX -XII, allowing students to engage in meaningful discussions about various health-related topics. Participants shared personal experiences, challenges, and strategies for improving overall health and wellness.

The Very First Morning Assembly Of The New Academic Session 2024-25 Was Conducted By Class Xii A, Highlighting The Essence Of “new Beginnings”.

Following The News Highlights, The Assembly Commenced With The Thought That, “every Sunset Is An Opportunity To Reset, Every Sunrise Begins With New Eyes.”

Students Of Grade Iii –xii Were Buoyed Up For The Beginning Of The New Session Calling It A Chance To Reset, Reflect And Renew The Commitment To Excellence, By Accepting The Change, Setting Goals, Celebrating The Milestones, Taking Actions And Building Resilience.

The Assembly Was Concluded After The Inspiring Words Of Principal Madam, To Begin The New Journey With All Enthusiasm, Diligence And Perseverance
