Report on Movie Excursion

 (Ankur - Grade II)

A delightful movie excursion was organized on 24th September 25 for students from Nursery to Grade II. The children were taken to watch the delightful and heart-warming film Lilo & Stitch. The experience in the theatre was filled with excitement and laughter as the students thoroughly enjoyed the movie.

They were treated to popcorn and Pepsi, making the outing even more special. After returning to school, the children were treated to sumptuous lunch, adding a perfect ending to their fun-filled day.

The excursion provided a valuable opportunity for the young learners to unwind, strengthen their bond with their peers, and create happy memories outside the classroom.

Theme: Listening is an art

Students of Grade XI A conducted a morning assembly highlighting the importance of listening in communication. The assembly began with major news headlines of national, international, school, and sports updates.

This was followed by an inspirational thought- ‘Listening is an art that requires attention over talent, spirit over ego, and others over self’. Students also performed a short enactment to show how good listening skills can improve communication, avoid misunderstandings, and strengthen relationships. The assembly concluded with the national anthem. 

Report on Annual Theatre Festival – UMANG 

Presented by: Grade I 

On 22 November 2025, J.M. International School, Dwarka buzzed with excitement  as the young Grade I students presented the UMANG Theatre Festival. The  auditorium came alive with colour and creativity as the children took the stage  with confidence and enthusiasm. 

The event began with a graceful lamp-lighting ceremony by guests Ms. Eshani,  renowned Kathak artist, and Mr. Virendra Srivastava, retired Delhi Education  Officer, along with Vice Chairman Mr. Yogesh Gupta, Director Mr. Rohit Gupta and  Principal Dr. Amita Saxena. 

The highlight of the event was the enchanting theatrical presentation-“Neki  Ninjas.” The young performers seamlessly blended drama and dance to portray  how kindness and hardwork emerge from within. With imaginative props, graceful  choreography, and commendable teamwork, the students delivered a powerful  message that true strength lies in goodness. 

Parents, teachers, and guests watched with beaming pride as the young  performers lit up the stage with their charm and confidence. Every smile, gesture,  and dialogue reflected their hard work and joy. The audience left inspired,  carrying with them the heartfelt message the children so beautifully expressed — that goodness, when shared, has the power to light up the world. Submitted by –

Commerce Fiesta 2025: Celebrating Creativity, Innovation & Enterprise

JM International School hosted its much-awaited Commerce Fiesta 2025, a dynamic platform for young innovators to showcase creativity, entrepreneurship and marketing skills. The event featured two flagship competitions designed for different grade groups: Vision 2 Venture for Grades IX–XII and Pitch Perfect for Grades VI–VIII.

On 19th November 2025, Pitch Perfect, designed for the middle school segment, focused on the art of advertising, branding, and persuasive communication. Students created engaging commercials, brand jingles, taglines, and visual promotions for imaginary as well as real-life products. On 20th November 2025, Vision 2 Venture brought forward impressive business ideas that reflected originality, feasibility, and societal relevance. Students presented innovative start-up models ranging from eco-friendly products and digital solutions to community-impact ventures.

The Commerce Fiesta 25’ strengthened students’ confidence, communication skills, decision-making abilities and teamwork.

CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION REPORT

ANKUR-XII

On the occasion of Children’s Day, we celebrated the spirit of childhood with great enthusiasm, joy, and excitement. This special day, observed on November 14th, marks the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India.

Our teachers lit up the stage, celebrating Children’s Day on 14th November 2025 with smiles, surprises, and a whole lot of love! The day began with fun classroom activities, where students enjoyed games, creative tasks, and joyful interactions planned specially for them.

This was followed by a special assembly presented by our teachers. The programme opened with a prayer, continued with a musical performance, and culminated in a vibrant dance that filled the hall with energy and excitement. For the students of grades Ankur-V, a magical show was arranged to captivate their imaginations and add an extra dose of excitement to the day.The students were delighted to see their teachers performing for them.

The assembly commenced with a soulful morning prayer that set a serene and positive tone for the day. This was followed by the News Segment, where students updated the audience with the latest national and international headlines, and an inspiring Thought for the Day that encouraged reflection and positivity. 

The assembly also celebrated the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, which will be observed worldwide on 5th November this year. To mark the event, students of Grade XII A came dressed in traditional Sikh attire, adding a touch of cultural grace and devotion to the morning. They shared the significance of the day, highlighting the teachings and philosophy of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, emphasizing his message of equality, humility, and selfless service.

Topic: The Magic of Words

The morning assembly conducted by Class VI B was based on the theme “The Magic of Words.” The program began with the morning prayer, followed by the news headlines and thought of the day.

A special highlight of the assembly was a short act featuring a magician, who performed simple tricks to show the power of words. With his “magic wand” and “magic words,” he demonstrated how good words like ‘please,’ ‘thank you,’ and ‘sorry’ can spread positivity, while unkind or rude words can hurt others and take away happiness.

The performance beautifully conveyed the message that just like magic can change things, our words also have the power to change lives.

The assembly concluded with the National Anthem. Overall, it was an inspiring and thoughtful presentation that reminded everyone that words are magical — use them wisely!

Report on Annual Theatre Festival UMANG – Grade II

Presented by: GRADE II

J.M. International School, Dwarka celebrated its Annual Theatre Festival – UMANG for Grade II on August 30, 2025, with great enthusiasm. The programme began with a lamp-lighting ceremony in the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Pranav Kharbanda, Vice Chairman Mr. Yogesh Gupta, Director Mr. Rohit Gupta, and Principal Dr. Amita Saxena.

The event started with an energetic action dance, followed by a welcome address by Dr. Saxena, highlighting the school’s commitment towards the holistic development of its students. This year’s theme, “Treasure Hunt with Chacha Chaudhary”, was presented through a engaging mix of theatre, dance, and drama, enhanced with colourful props and creative stage décor.

Grade II students showcased their talent with great confidence and joy. Their impressive acting and graceful moves kept the audience involved, while the storyline conveyed the message that the greatest treasure lies within—courage, confidence and positivity.

The programme not only was entertaining but also gave children a platform to display their creativity and teamwork. Parents and teachers felt proud to witness the performances of the young learners.

The Aakashganga 2025 celebration at JM International School, Dwarka, was a three-day inter-disciplinary event held from 29th to 31st October 2025, centered around the theme “Exploring the Wonders of Space.” Designed to ignite curiosity and creativity among students, the event offered hands-on astronomy experiences under the guidance of the Social Science Department. 

Students from Grades IV to VIII enthusiastically explored diverse space concepts through engaging and artistic classroom activities. Each grade participated in a distinct thematic project—Grade IV created vibrant space-themed compositions in “My Space Visit,” while Grade V learners designed 3D meteor models in “Meteor Mania” to understand their structure and impact. Grade VI students crafted astronaut masks through “Create Your Astronaut Face Mask,” learning about the importance of protective gear in space exploration. Grade VII designed rotating solar system models in “Cosmic Sticks – A Journey through the Solar System,” enhancing their understanding of planetary order and features, while Grade VIII constructed “Constellation Wheels” to study how constellations vary across months. 

The event culminated in a mini-exhibition on 31st October 2025, where students proudly showcased their models and shared their learning experiences. The collaborative spirit and enthusiasm of both students and teachers made Aakashganga 2025 a vibrant success, beautifully blending science, art, and imagination.
