Report on Annual Theatre Festival UMANG – Grade II

J.M. International School, Dwarka celebrated its Annual Theatre Festival – UMANG for Grade II on August 30, 2025, with great enthusiasm. The programme began with a lamp-lighting ceremony in the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Pranav Kharbanda, Vice Chairman Mr. Yogesh Gupta, Director Mr. Rohit Gupta, and Principal Dr. Amita Saxena.
The event started with an energetic action dance, followed by a welcome address by Dr. Saxena, highlighting the school’s commitment towards the holistic development of its students. This year’s theme, “Treasure Hunt with Chacha Chaudhary”, was presented through a engaging mix of theatre, dance, and drama, enhanced with colourful props and creative stage décor.
Grade II students showcased their talent with great confidence and joy. Their impressive acting and graceful moves kept the audience involved, while the storyline conveyed the message that the greatest treasure lies within—courage, confidence and positivity.
The programme not only was entertaining but also gave children a platform to display their creativity and teamwork. Parents and teachers felt proud to witness the performances of the young learners.
