REPORT ON INTERHOUSE COMPETITION

  GRADE: – III - V

Name of the Competition: Spellathon

Date: 08.05.2024

Duration: 8:15 am – 9:15 am

Venue: School Auditorium

Our school had organised an Inter House Competition ‘Spellathon’ for Grades III to V. The students participated with great enthusiasm and dueled through the toughest words. This activity provided a doorway for students to learn new vocabulary in an interesting play way method. There were four rounds for this activity like Spell it right (oral), Picture Round (Identify the words through visual clues), Pronounce It Right and What’s the Right word (Jumble Tumble) which attempted to inculcate in students a love for words, to challenge their limits, take pride in their efforts and explore their linguistic mettle.

The first position was bagged by Democratic House, second position by Secular House and Third position was bagged by Sovereign House. It was a wonderful and enriching experience not only for the participants but for the students in the audience as well.
