    Jan Bhagidari (Participation of the Common People)

    “Our Constitution is a ray of HOPE: H for Harmony, O for Opportunity, P for People’s Participation and E for Equality.”

    Prime Minister Shree Narendra Modi.

     

                         Celebrating the participation of the common people, “Jan Bhagidari”, in the world’s largest democracy, with a  special focus on Women Empowerment, J M International School, Dwarka, hosted the 74th Republic Day Celebrations of the country.

    The event was graced by the Guests of Honour- Mr R. K. Sharma, former Principal of N. K. Bagrodia Public School, Rohini, and Mr Sunil Jha, renowned newscaster and political analyst, the chief guest Chairman JMIS- Shree R.B. Gupta, Directors- Mr. Yogesh Gupta and Mr. Rohit Gupta, and Principal, Dr Amita Saxena.

    The event was conducted in two parts, with a flag hoisting ceremony and national anthem in the school ground followed by a cultural programme with special focus on the theme “Women Empowerment” in the school auditorium. The event included an award ceremony to congratulate and acknowledge the excellence of selected students throughout the year via the Curricular and Co- Curricular Special Awards presented by the Director, Principal and the Chief Guests. Multiple cultural items were presented such as an instrumental, singing performance, theatre and dance performance amongst others which showcased the talents and progressive vision of the students of the school.

    JM International School, Dwarka has always remained enthusiastic about significant days in history and celebrates them with great patriotic fervour.

      DONATED ITEMS  SENT TO THE VENUES: GHANA EMBASSY ,  THE REPUBLIC GHANA,  (COUNTRY IN WEST AFRICA), DEEPALAYA AND GOONJ ( THE LARGEST OPERATIONAL NGO )

                                   

                                                    Giving provides an intrinsic reward that is far more valuable than the gift we receive. As Mahatma Gandhi said: “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”

       

       A thought to bring  smiles and joy on the faces of deprived children in the year 2023 , J.M International school , Dwarka jubilantly celebrated a donation drive week  from 19th December to 23rd December,2022. A pivotal role was played by the teachers and the parents to motivate the young ignited minds about the values of sharing. Students   

      generously donated  non-perishable food items( rice, wheat flour, pulses,sugar, nuts, biscuits etc), unused stationery items,enriching  text books, story books  to Ghana embassy, Deepalaya centre and Goonj donation centre. The ‘act of giving’ kindled self-esteem and brought happiness in the hearts of the JMIS community.

        “The only way to learn Mathematics is to do mathematics”

        J M International School, celebrated Mathematics Week to develop student’s intuitive higher order thinking skills. This year, it was celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Srinivasa Ramanujan from December 19, 2022 – December 22, 2022.

        Various activities were planned and conducted by Maths Teachers of the school. The objectives of the activities were to promote interest in Mathematics, to enhance their Problem-Solving Skills, conceptual knowledge and help them overcome the fear of Mathematics. The enthusiastic participation of the students was outstanding and invigorating. This way of understanding Maths was enjoyed by the students .It was an attempt to bring them closer to Mathematics.
