Class Assembly- Grade II Gulmohar

Venue: School Auditorium

Topic: Rakshabandhan

‘The paths may change as life goes along, but the bond between a brother and sister remains ever strong.’

At our School, we believe that the bond binds the two equally. Both pledge to love and care for each other. Grade II presented a special assembly on 25th August ’23 to celebrate Rakshabandhan and to reflect upon the timeless relationship between brothers and sisters.

Students spoke a few lines on the significance of the festival and how the eternal bond between a brother and sister is celebrated in India. They were brimming with joy as they delivered their lines with conviction. A poem ‘Rakhi Aai, Rakhi Aai.’ was recited by a group of students. A scintillating dance performance brightened the whole atmosphere and the auditorium reverberated with applause of the audience. Principal ma’am also greeted all students with a message of spreading love and joy all around.

In the end a short interaction with everyone, helped recap the values conveyed in the assembly.
